The Wyoming INBRE Data Science Core is moving to its new dedicated space in the Science Initiative Building on University of Wyoming’s campus. The space features a research and teaching laboratory, faculty offices and a student computer lab.
This new 1400 square feet of space was made possible by an investment of USD $325,000 from an institutional development award (IDeA) Number P20GM103432 by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) of the National Institute of Health.
The Data Science Core Laboratory is certified as a BSL-2 Facility.
The Core expects that the laboratory will be used for a multitude of activities by investigators, teachers and students not only from the University of Wyoming, but also those from community colleges throughout the state.
